Secret Operatives Localy Isolating Demons~SOLID~ (Priv)

Hi, my name is Jayce. But most people call me Jay. I'm twenty years old and I live with my parents in Las Nevada Bustling streets, crime city. A great place for those seeking the American dream only to end up dead in the streets at night due to mugging or such. But sometimes, when you work the night shift. You see some strange shit happening.

I found out about the darker world as I worked the graveyard shift one night at a power plant, I had just finished my police training and took up the job as security guard. I found out on my first night, that there were strange creatures lurking deep in the darkest recesses of the plant. When I drew my weapon, the creature jump at me. I raise the gun,shot and killed it. It was horrid, it had the appearance of an animal, a leopard yet it was covered in black scales.

When the other guards found me scare out of my wits, they dragged me to the boss of the plant. It turned from what I witnessed was an escaped lab experiment. The plant was a cover up. The plant was a front for an organization that was bought buy the government to create a super enhanced organism to fight in war instead of sending in human soldiers. And I soon found out, learning of this secret meant you were then implanted into the program. They threw me into a room, strapped me to a chair and threw me into containment chamber. Feeding me strange concoctions of meds, enhancing my body. my brain and motor functions. When they finally let me out.

I was no longer my former self. My body doubled in muscle size. I could crush a mans skull with my bare hands. Yet they still locked my to that room. Once in awhile they took me to an observation room where I'd have to kill those monsters with my bare hands alone. I tore them apart, at first it scared me. How much of a monster I became. Soon, the muscle decreased yet my speed increased. i was faster then any car could move. They once pulled a gun on me. Shot at me, I could easily dodge a bullet! It looked as though everything was moving in slow motion.

Soon they had me chained to a chair and talking to the man who put in this situation. The BOSS. He had no name to give, I knew him as Morris Brown, obviously a fake. He gave me a proposition. That I could get away from this lab, to work outside in a testing field. The city. My job, capture or kill the creatures that lurked in the shadows. I would be given a team.

SOLID was the name of this team. There was me, A biotic enhanced super Soldier with heavy fire arms. A brainy scientist who can telepathically read minds and throw objects with a simple thought. A young fair haired women who could transform into a Lycan, a werewolf and finally the last member. A female Vampire.

I was overwhelmed by the offer. I didn't know what to do. I asked for time to decide and he gladly let me be for a short time as he left my cell. It was then that I decided to break out. I killed seventeen guards and fled the factory to come home to my family, happily eating at the table. With me sitting in a chair, My former self. But I was me. Not this fake who stole my life. As I stood there in the darkness. looking through the window with my new eyes, bright and translucent due to the drugs and enhancements. I turned away from that life. I fled from the world, went into hiding at an old warehouse near some docks. I changed my name, changed my clothing and tried to make a new life for myself. But I could tell, that the world of darkness and evil was creeping back to me.

What a nuisance. Asa thought to herself as she, and the rest of her 'team' were prepped about what job they were going to do. There was a runaway guinea pig, and they had to either retrieve it, or kill it. She smiled lightly at the thought, though Asa was nearly twenty one, she would do anything for a good fight. She figured it was the Lycan instinct, but she had always been slightly sadistic. She looked around at her fellow teammates and tried not to sneer, she didn't need a team, she could do this on her own. So the thing was super fast and could doge bullets and probably kill a dozen men in five minutes, she had her own tatics. She fiddled with a piece of her shiny blonde hair and looked at the others, a male, and another female, who, like Asa, looked rather bored. She snickered inwardly, the girl was a vampire, she obviously took this project nothing but a game of cat and mouse. Her grey eyes settled upon the male, he honestly reminded her of a stereotypical nerd that had never been in ten minutes of sunlight. Finally, she looked at the man that was talking to them. Their boss, or, well he thought that they were listening. When she finally tuned back her ears to the sound of his annoying voice, she sighed and closed her eyes to hide her nagging temper. They were going to sleep for the night, apparently, and then be off by tomorrow. "Are we done?" She finally asked, cutting the silence and opening her cloudy grey eyes to look at the man. He stared at her for a few seconds and nodded. "We can't exactly pinpoint his exact location, or this would be alot easier than you'd think. But he couldn't have gotten far." Already tuning him out, they all left the room in silence, being followed by security guards that looked so scared that they could shit their pants at any given moment. When they were walked back to a small room with four chairs and a small table in the middle, she gladly popped herself into the padded seat. "So. We need to find the little mouse, we can capture or kill him." She said to nobody in particular, just repeating what she knew was their inital task. They were all given a folder, to see what he looked like, his personal information, etc etc. She raised an eyebrow when a piece of fabric fell out of the folder, and rolled her eyes. "I'm not some police dog sniffing for drugs." She said, putting the fabric back into the folder and shutting it closed. She didn't need to worry about his personal information, she needed to find exactly where he was hiding.

The brains of the team. Rudger, a German Scientology genius in the field of medicine had soon found himself working for the government and whom created the super soldier project. Sitting down, listening to his boss then giving the team the information they needed to do their jobs. When the Wolf didn't comply with her position, Rudger spoke up when sitting down. "Your a wolf, your a hunter, your job is to follow his scent trail. If you got a problem with that. We can easily put you in a cage like you were in several months ago Asa, and I'm sure you would'nt like that. Now pay attention and read the damn file this time. Last time you pulled this shit you ended up with a severed arm because you didn't read about the ghouls bladed arm that sprouts out when cornered. So, please do listen and look at his profile picture."

He then reached over and opened the profile so she could see the picture of her target.



"This picture was taken by one of the female staff who was flirting with the target. But don't let his good looks fool you. He has the strength to throw a semi truck at you like a baseball. He can rip limbs like paper, even vampires pale in comparison to his strength." The scientist looked to the vampires who smirked a fanged grin. He shook his head as he continued. "He killed several of our operatives, who are veterans of war training and had slightly similar enhancements. He killed them without any weapons." The scientist threw the profile onto the table. Massagin his temples. "He's physically,mentally and emotionally enhanced in all ways to become the perfect humanoid killing machine. Avoid getting in to close to him if possible. He knows all our weaknesses and will do his best to exploit them." He looked to the wolf. "He knows your flesh burns when touched by silver." He turned his gaze to the vampire. "Blessed water is like acid to your skin." Then he gazed down at the table. "And I, He knows that physically I can be torn in half since I have no strength what so ever."

He then looked to his team. "We have several area's to cover. downtown, clubs and casino's and the docks. He will most likely try to conceal himself in these places. Choose where you wish to go and you'll be escorted to your assigned vehicles. Be cautious, if you find him DO NOT CONFRONT HIM ALONE!" His voice echoed even ito their very minds. "He is most likely armed now with whatever weaponry he could get his hands on. Do so to contact each other and myself to come and help with the attack if we need to take him down. This, will be our most dangerous mission. Understood?" He did need and answer, he merely left them. The vampire left soon after.

Asa shook her head and rolled her eyes, picking up the folder and standing, she walked to her.. Could you call it a room? She sat down on the overly squeaky bed and read all the information they had gathered, he seemed particularly normal before they had turned him into a killing machine. Looking at his photo, she smiled a little. If he did choose clubs and casinos, it wouldn't be hard to find him, since every single girl in the building would be trying to get their hands on him, she twirled a piece of her long blonde hair in her fingers and continued to read. The guy had a point, he was dangerous and this time she wouldn't come out with just a hurt arm, she'd probably have her head impaled, and she really liked her hair. She picked up the piece of torn cloth in her hand and looked at it, inhaling slightly, the scent filled her lungs, and it didn't take long to transition the smell into her mind. Asa got up and changed into her pajamas, flopping back onto the bed lazily. She set the folder on the bedside table and rolled to her back, staring up at the ceiling in complete and definite boredom.

I spent several nights, training. I didn't know why. I kept on enhancing my physical body, as well as meditation and focusing on my feelings and emotions. It was hard to feel anything really. I couldn't smile anymore, I couldn't laugh. It was as if they had been wiped from my mind, as if forgotten how to. When I was done training, I sprawled at night. Killing agents of SOLID when they tried hunting me down. I only needed my hunting knife to kill humans, and a nice silver bullet to the head to kill anything that wasn't human. I lost count of how many people I killed, how many monsters I slew.

Tonight, I sat at the docks, looking out to the waters. thinking to myself. I wanted to run away, yet they owned everything. They had the airports,trains and taxi cabs tagged and would know where I was heading even before I do.

Asa eventually went back to the folder, what the hell could possibly kill him? They hadn't told any of them his weakness, although maybe Einstein knew. She finally gave in and got up, opening her door and disregarding the guards that both stared at her in awe and commanded her to go to her room. She walked down the hall to the brainiac's room and knocked lightly, putting all of her weight into one foot as she crossed her arms and stared at the door, waiting for it to open. She needed information to help her, in case of an emergency, since tomorrow very much could be her last day living, might as well die while putting up a great fight. The security guards told her to go, trying to persuade her without virtually yelling or touching her. "Calm down." She said, rolling her eyes at them. "I only want to talk to him, about tomorrow." She said, snickering when they automatically became like stone and walked back to their positions, acting like their lips were super-glued together.

The door slowly opened and his voice rang softly in her mind Come in. He spoke often in mind rather then with words from the vocal box. as she stepped in she would soon find herself surrounded by floating books, pages flipping over slowly one after another. The scientist walking about the emptied room. reading from one bookt to another, not so much holding them. But more along the lines of skimming them.

"I know why your here but please, do go into more depth. If you want to know more information about the target do ask with solid questions. I'll give you the option, you want words or mental voice." He spoke rather quick and to the point, he hated to be lazy. But there was always sufficiency.

Asa wasn't surprised when seeing the floating books and the mostly empty room that she entered when the door slowly opened before her. She slowly stepped inside and then further in, and walked over to a wall that wasn't occupied by anything and leaned against it. She blinked a few times and took in her surroundings, cutting the silence finally, when she had an answer. "I would prefer if you would talk normally." She started, looking at a book that floated past her head with a raised eyebrow. "But, I also want to know what his weakness is. We all have weaknesses, silver, holy water, strength. But, we weren't told anything about his." She said, crossing her arms over her chest while waiting for his answer calmly, Asa was actually proud of herself, she had stayed calm for this long.

The scientist paused for a moment to think, then shook his head when sighing softly. "That is the difficulty of the situation. He's perfect. We created him far to perfectly. He has no weakness. A superman without kryptonite so to speak. His body was enhanced to perfect physical standards that he could crush a high power battle tanker wit his bare hands. His skin tissue cells multiply which puts both you and a vampires regenerative abilities to shame. He does'nt need to eat, or sleep. His mind is almost accelerated as my own." The books came to him,forming a chair model of books as he sat down and floated about.

"Shoot him, stab him. He moves faster then anything we've seen. He can even see bullet patterns when shot at. We created a monster of monsters, hiding in human flesh." He looked to his books and shook his head as he massaged his temples. "I've fucked up...I made him to strong, I didn't take any precautions to find his Achilles heel. The BOSS and the big heads made sure he couldn't be killed without throwing a damn nuke at him. Which is the most stupidest option and yet the most effective way to kill something. But the damage to the city would be catastrophic." He groaned as bloow leaked from his eyes.

"Fuck!" He swung his arms and all books dropped, yet his seat remained perfect as he sat upon it. He wiped the blood from his eyes, his nose and ears. "Damn them...why...why was I damned to be given this power, it's destroying me..." He looked to the wolf. "I...I may be dieing from my own power. My brain, when over exausted. I'll get aneurisms. I don't knwo how much longer I'll last out." He laughed softly. "A genius who will die from his own intellect...how ironic eh?"

Asa listened to him carefully, nodding every now and then to indicate she was still listening. If he was perfect.. Then how the fuck did they think they would even survive to tell the tale of seeing him from fifty feet away? When her temper flared up slightly, Asa breathed in and out evenly and shut her eyes for a moment, only for them to snap open when the Scientist swore loudly and she heard books clatter to the ground. She felt sorry for him, watching the blood leak out of his body, she looked at him carefully. "There's nothing they can do about it?" She asked, referring to the blood that she could smell almost clearly from where she stood. "If they don't be more careful, they're either going to kill themselves or things that'll make them millionaires." She said, rolling her eyes because she knew how much money they would make, how much money they already made. Walking towards him hesitantly, she gave him a small folded napkin, more like a hankercheif, but it was special to her, in some ways. "Wipe off the blood, I can smell it." She said, backing away after she placed it in his hands.

The weakened genius paused as the handkerchief was placed in his hands. "Thank." He whispered softly as he dabbed the cloth gently at the area's, his eyes were bloodshot. tired and black creases under his eyes. He had no bed. Only books that surrounded them both.

'No. I...will die soon. And I promised, I would take my last creation with me. Even if he kills me. I don't want him to survive. The horrible things we've done to that poor boy. I deserve are far worse fate then this. We deserve to die, for tampering with the science of man. To create something so lethal and destructive. He's....far worse then any nuclear explosion. He's slower then one, but he does the same amount of damaged if given free range of any location."

He spoke softly as he simply looked at the napkin and pulled the blood particles from the cloth thread till it was perfectly clean once more. he then let the cloth float to her side once more as he compressed the blood in the air to a solid sphere ball which he held in his hands.

"I will try and destroy his brain with my own. If I can sever his spinal column and debilitate him. You and the vampire can drag him back here to be sealed away." He leaned back into the chair after recovering a bit. The books levitated slowly once more.

He looked so weak and tired that it almost pained Asa to look at him. But when the cloth floated over to her, she took it gently in her hands, folding it before tucking it back in a safe spot. It was sort of stomach wrenching, to watch him hold his own blood like it was a bouncy ball, but she stayed silent until he was finished. "That's the only solution?" She asked quietly, watching as the books floated in the air, she only grazed her fingertips against one of the covers before it continued to float along. "Do you think you have a chance of surviving?" She asked, sliding her body down the wall and sitting on the ground as she looked up at her surroundings, her head leaned against the cool cement. She wasn't used to being empathetic, but how could you not feel bad, watching someone practically die slowly because of their own brain? She folded her arms around her knees and brought them in slowly, looking up at how fragile he seemed, compared to her.

Rudger smiled softly as he turned the pebble of blood into a coin then placed it in a piece of tissue he had in his pocket for other cases of bleeding. He then let it liquify and soon it caught on fire. "There is no other option. I must take him down even at the cost of my life. For I was the one who changed him into such a perfect killing tool. I will not survive the encounter, that is for sure." He slowly stood. walking over to her and sitting beside her. up close, he looked even worse. dark rings under his eyes. his skin sickly pale and his body scrawny looking underneath all the clothing and white lab coat.

"I want to try and reason with him first, if I can't, then I'll throw everything I have at him, hoping that maybe I can snap his spine. Can I trust you to drag him back to this place, lock him away. Let someone else continue my work." He smiled softly as he held out his hand for her to shake on it.

Asa looked at his hand, biting her bottom lip and initally averting her gaze away from it. She couldn't think of anything else they could do, but he was so willing to throw himself out there, just for a stupid project that would take his life. But she had no other choice, though when she put her hand in his, her bangs covering her eyes, that was the only time that she thought that her conscious would burst out of her head and smack her across the face. She shouldn't care whether he died or not, she shouldn't of. It wasn't in her nature, but he was merely a human, he couldn't protect himself at all. Asa dropped her hand to her side after shaking his lightly, her face still hidden. She hoped that maybe they could reason with it, but in the back of her head Asa knew that reason would be a very low option, he was most likely going to meet his end, too fast. She contemplated just standing and leaving right then and there, but her feet wouldn't obey her. "Aren't you scared?" She asked quietly, blinking a few times.

Rudger smiled as he pulled her hand closer. his cold smooth lips kissed her hand then let it go. "No...I've been ready for a long time." He spoke softly in a thick German accent as he slowly stood and offered to help her up. "I believe we'll find him at the docks. It was one of the two things I've read in his profile. He's not at his home, and enjoys looking out to the waters."


When I opened my eyes, I had a feeling I was being watched. I could hear them. Agents. They found once again. I stood slowly turning to see the long red lines pointing to different parts of my body. Snipers, not bad. But when I looked up. I could see them, feel them. Smell them. I merely flicked my hand to allow the berreta to drop. Grabbing it, I went to work.

Rudger paused as he looked concerned. "They found him."

The alarm buzzed to summon the team to the command room.

Asa sucked in a deep breath and stood, her head spinning slightly as she stepped towards them, she wondered how he could act so easygoing, like everything was going to be okay. Her emotions weighed down her body, she tried to do her best to push them away, but couldn't. Once they had all filed into the command room, Asa blinked a few times and glanced over at the vampire, she had never actually talked to her. But the separation and intensity of the two totally different kinds of species would most likely kill the conversation faster than this humanoid could kill her. She sat in the stiff chair and looked around at the room, ready to hear whatever type of information they would feed them now.

Rudger sat down and flicked on the com. the screen came alive showing a young man wounded heavily, one of his eyes was cut and blood dripping down his face. The scientist spoke quickly. "Statues report!"

"All dead sir. As soon as we found him we were given orders to shoot on sight. The target...he moved way to fast. none of the sniper team could even get a clear shot on him. The infantry team tried to ambush from cover but he shot them all dead within seconds of knowing their positions. But also...we encountered another problem sir." The young mans face was slowly healing. Regenerating soldier. Part of Rudgers science experiments.

"Go on." Rudger stood slowly.

"The area we hit, its a nest of Naga sir! Merman." The line went dead and the screen went blank. The german man cursed in his own language. "He's good...building a safe place to hide right near a nest of sea creatures that would gladly fight to defend their home. He probably had this set up for awhile." He shook his head as he looked to the two women. "Both of you. Your mission is to pull out any soldiers you can. I'll deal with the subject and the naga. Once you both have excourt the soldiers to a safe distance, your to join me." He then pulled from his pocket two keys. and threw them on the table. "Your vehicles are waiting...." He then disappeared in a flash of light.

Asa took the keys and watched as the vampire spun them on her finger, looking rather unhappy, she just rolled her eyes and left the room, still being escorted. When Asa got to the cars, she smiled at the expensive yet perfect choice in a car. She gladly got into the black Cadillac Escalade EXT, looking at the interior and smiling, she figured it had to be bulletproof or something. Quickly, Asa shut her door and turned on the engine, sighing quietly before she pulled expertly out of the spot where it was just parked, travelling behind who she assumed was the vampire. Her heart beat in anticipation about what was just about to happen, but she had no choice, she was in this to either fight and win, or die trying. The pair were probably speeding substantially, but they didn't really care, speed or rules weren't intact at this very moment, though, when this was all over, if she was still alive Asa would really miss this car.

I had to do my best while being under fire from agents and fighting seamen with spears and shields made of the undersea rock. My bullets weren't doing much. I killed a few of them. Got up close and put my fist through one of the shields,sending the creature through a building as I rushed in and flailed my kicks and punches to take a few of them out. Everything moving as if the slow motion button was pressed on a dvd player.

I could see every movement, motion of projectiles as I whizzed past the bullets and snapped a rifle out of an agents arms. shooting him in the face then lighting up several more. That's when I saw him, after I killed everything in sight. I could hear some of the agents trying to pull back.

I knew that the others were not far behind. "So, come to take me 'home' Rudgur?" I smirked as I raised the rifle,aiming for his head.

Asa and the Vampire worked speedily to drag all the soldiers out as fast as they could. Some were wounded badly, other's escaped unscathed. By the time they were done, Asa's hands were covered in blood, the smell almost making her nauseous as her and the vampire walked down to back-up Rudgur, their weapons up as they protected each other's backs, but nothing seemed to be around, everything had either fled or had been killed. As they got closer and closer, it became more and more silent, until they both saw Rudgur and the gun aimed to his head, they were close, and Asa went to step forward, but the Vampire put her arm out and stopped her, watching them with narrow eyes.

It was difficult to aim. My vision was blurring a bit, I could tell he was trying hard to put me down. But I was stronger then that, I was willing only my first finger to pull the trigger, Rudger saw this coming and the next thing I knew I was on the ground. most of my bones broken and the gun fell aside.

I had shot him though, but only grazed his shoulder, everything was going dark. The last thing I remember seeing. Was my families faces.

Rudger had fallen to the ground with a pained groan. "Damn it!" He exclaimed as he pulled the bullet out of his arm. Grunting in pain as he slowly stood, looking at the broken young boy before him. He was the perfect specimen. He turned his head, looking at the females. "Can you...please bring him back to the lab..." Was all he said before a medic came and escorted Rudger to get bandaged up.

Asa watched as they escorted Rudger to Medical care, the vampire had already walked over and grabbed the unconscious boy's body. Her head only snapped over when the Vampire called out to her for help. She tore her eyes away reluctantly and then proceeded to bring him over to Asa's car, since it was bigger. They put him in, then continued their speeding back to the lab, where officials took his body into the lab. Asa felt guilty as she sat in a chair, totally unscathed when Rudger was indefinably hurt.

When I awoke, I awoke in restraints. Strapped to a test tube machine. floating in some strange liquid. I could see clearly through it. Yet I felt weak, I could feel my bones returning to proper shape. Yet I couldn't move. It was as if something was sapping all my muscle strength and motor functions. It was probably something they sedated me with. I tried looking about the room, but all I saw was lab coats. I had to start slowly, wiggle a finger. It took a few minutes, but the finger moved. barely, a slight twitch. But that showed promise. All I needed, was time.

Eventually, Asa asked to be taken into the lab room where they held him. She looked at his slightly floating body curiously, her head cocking from side to side as she examined his body, he was awake, and they were pissed off that she was even in the room, apparently it was dangerous. But she needed to get some things off her mind, and this was the only thing she could do right now.

The feeling of simply idle floating in a thick heated liquid made me shake slightly. It was weird, and I wanted out. As my eyes opened, I saw her. One of the team members who helped capture me. I smirked underneath the breathing mask the had over my face. my hand slowly raised and tapped on the glass. They responded by sending a few hundred volts through the liquid to taser me. My body clenched and tightened as I groaned. It was getting to the point where I would lose conscious again, then it stopped. Leaving me panting and exhausted.
