I look and see a soft fragile outside.
Before it was tough and driblets
on the inside and out.
But now it's hard to smile without feeling myself shatter even more.
I've fallen so far the sun doesn't even shine.
I'm lost and breaking apart.

He starts talking, making fun.
But all I do is laugh and talk back.
You can say all the stuff you want about me.
I don't care.
I may get angry and I may look upset.
It's only because I have to look at your face everyday.
And man is it making my eyes hurt.
