Abused or Just New? (X1X)

I shivewred nad moved clsoe to his warmer body, "So...where are...you headed with me?" I asked, voice shaking and i pulled the coar up on me. my legs were covered in blood, and that didn't mention the red tint my hair was taking

"My friend Max, he got kicked out of the local college a few years ago for...not being a model student, but he'll help you. I promise he won't hurt you and even if he did, I wouldn't think twice about hurting him back." Kyo pushed his legs harder, he had to get her out of the cold. He saw a light on in Max's window. Max lived in a small two bedroom apartment on the poor side of town. His place was nice compared to others, it was a place for students or teenagers of low incomes to go when they needed a place of their own. Max definitely needed it. He saw Max turn in his direction, and gave a slight nod. He would let them in.

SHe msiled as best she coudl up at him, "And I'll be laughing and taking pictures," This was the worst it had ever been...ever and she knew, just by how her body was starting to relax in his arms and her eyes close that she was losing blood, "Type AB..." I muttered, she hoped he knew what she ment...she was staring to jsut want to sleep.

"Don't worry...he's prepared for anything." Kyo whispered. She couldn't sleep, but she needed it. He had to fight with his feelings here. Thankfully he didn't have to try ringing the bell, Max was already down the stairs.

"I'm not going to ask, but do I need to make any trips?"

Kyo nodded. "AB." That was all he had to say. Max had connections. Being a drug dealer, it wasn't surprising to Kyo at all. Max held the door open to them and handed Kyo the key, "Don't open it unless its for me." And then Max disappeared into the night.
"He'll be back soon." Kyo said, his voice shaking a little bit. Max's buliding didn't have an elevator so he had to take the stairs. He made sure not to jostle her as much as he could avoid it. "I'm going to get you into some hot water, and then you can sleep, I promise." Why was he almost in tears? He couldn't figure it out.

She rubbed her eyes like you would expect a child to do, yawning and her body jerking in his arms as she shivered, harder again. "Um hum..." her whole body jerked again as she shiveresd. she wasn't fighitng to keep her eyes opwn anymore, she felt her body going limp little by little. Why was she giving up now? she had fought of her whole life...

"You'll feel better once you get warm, I promise." Kyo was more determined than ever. Max had left the door unlocked for them. Kyo pushed it open, and closed it behind him. He knew Max's home like his own. Max was there for him throughout all of his years of torment. He carried her through the small kitchen to the back where the small bathroom is. "I won't touch you like they touch you, but I need to help you.." He whispered as he turned on the hot water, adding a little cold so she wouldn't burn. "Do you need help with.." He gestured to her body, most of her clothes were gone.

"i will get it, jsut set me down and tell me when thigns are, my eyes hurt and i'm keeping them closed," she mumbled, her vouce no louder than a whisper stilll with the blood now dripping ontothe floor

Kyo, tested the water with his hand. It wasn't too hot, it was okay though, enough to warm her. "Do you want me to set you in the water?" He started clawing at his own shirt, he had to stop this bleeding. The blood bank was just a couple blocks from here, it wouldn't take Max that long to get back. He had IV's so it wasn't going to be that hard to give her a transfusion. "Even if you don't want to, you're going in." Kyo said, on the verge of tears. He couldn't lose her. Without her even realizing it, this girl had become important to him in just one afternoon.
He stepped up to the tub and bent his knees, gently lowering her into the water. The water automatically started turning pink as it touched the blood on her body. "The hot water will work to seal some of your wounds." He told her. He had to keep talking to her. He had to be positive. Even if she thought he was a complete dumb ass...which he was half the time, he had to do this. He had to save her.

"I can tell by your voice, she leaned back a bit, "That the water is pinkish...Keep talking, if i fall asleep, take me immeditly...it would not be well of me to fall asleep." she felt the water on her and felt a few of her deeper wounds stinging at being washed out. she took a breath through her nose a,d felt the sharp pain of it being broken, she reached up tentitivly and winced as she snapped it back

Kyo gasped and reached behind him, grabbing a wad of toilet paper. "You are...amazing." He managed to say. Even if he didn't want to admit it, he cared for her. She could match him exactly if they ever learned to trust each other. Which wasn't too hard for him, at the rate he was going, he could fall in love with this woman. She was someone he could imagine himself with. Strong.
He held the tissue under her nose. "Don't lean your head back..the blood will upset your stomach if it goes back down your throat."

SHe smiled at bit, her ears popping, "I have ingested enough blood...And, you know, in your nose, there are ways to block the pain receptors. I will teach you when I get a alittle better. Enough to actually sit up with out bleeding," she opened her eyes and looked at him

"Just so you know..we don't have to go back to school. We can do it over the internet. I have...given this a lot of thought." Kyo looked over at her, from under his eyelashes. "You don't ever have to go back."
Hell if they went back to the park looking for her, they would see all the blood and think she died anyway.
"And if you want, I'll wait outside so you can wash up."

She smiled a little, "That would be fine...I will need two towels then if you can, keep myself awake long enough, to at least wrap up my arms and legs." the water was just clear enough to see the huge gashes down both calves but no higher than her knees then ones on her arms not past her shoudlers

Kyo stood up and opened the cabinet under the sink. Towels. He made sure they were black so she wouldn't upset herself when she saw however much blood came back on them. He placed them down next to the bathtub. "Soap is over there." He pointed to the built-in shelf behind her. "I'll be outside the door, waiting for Max. When you're done, we'll get some food in you." He smiled, looking down a little.

She looked up at him, truthfully saying, "Thank you." she never thanked anyone but he was sweet...something that she was carefull with exploring

Kyo could only nod. He didn't want her to see him weak. No one had ever seen that side of him. He got to his feet and pulled the door closed behind him, leaving it open just a crack. As soon as he slid down the wall to sit on the floor, there was a knock on the door.
Kyo stiffened. Did Max knock to get into his own house? Well he had locked the door..
Kyo grabbed a small hand gun that was sitting on the table and crept up the to the door, looking thorugh the peep hole. "Its me, dumb ass, open the door."
He sighed and unlocked the dead bolt. "You took long enough."
"Hey, stealing blood isn't that easy." Max opened his tranch coat, placing the weapons he had on him on the table. He needed to clean and sharpen them. He was carrying a small cooler. The blood. "How is she?" He asked, as he slipped his jacket off, locking the door again.
"Better." Kyo couldn't look at him.
"I should have known."
"What?" He turned and looked at Max as he pulled a chair up to the table.
"That look. You care about her."

She coudn'ty stand and knew that, so she stayed sitting for now. she pulled free of what they had left of her and easily tossed them into the sink. She stood, and had to lean a little on the wall as she washed her self down, , the water a deep red after washing her hair. she rinsed off, then stepped out, using a towel to dry off then wrapp it around from her hips to her knees then the other under her arms around her chest. Her hair was to her waist, jet black and a little curly now that it was wet, she'd dried it a little before opening the door

Kyo turned and was at her side in seconds. "I'll carry you if you want." He said, smiling. Max tossed a shirt and it hit in him the back of the head, "Here," he said, without looking up from his weapons collection. Kyo rolled his eyes at him. "We can set you up in the back room over here," Kyo pointed. The room was the one he stayed in when he came over. There was an IV in there from his last visit. "Max was a medical student, he knows what he's doing."
"That's right, now I'm going to need to get the blood in her as soon as possible."

"Uh, shure...And max, One, your nose is bleeding and second, i would rather not loose blood at the moment so he can help me get my gashes wrapped up for now while you go clean and sharpen your weapons." she was s snit to people she don't know and particually like, "Lead the way,"

Kyo had to pretend he was having a coughing fit to keep from laughing. "Your nose really is bleeding." He said, when Max gave him "The Look."
He put his right hand on her lower back to lead her, as he led her back to the spare bedroom. "The medical supplies are in here as well."
The room was plain, minus all the medical equipment. It had a bed and a table, that was about it, the rest, was empty for his stuff that he hadn't moved here yet.
"He isn't really a bad guy, he's just..really cocky, but he can help."
Kyo grabbed the first aid kit from the table and opened it, grabbing the roll of guaze. He knew how to treat a deep wound. He covered the guaze in some ointment first before softly setting it on the wound and wrapping it up tightly.
He heard Max moving through the kitchen. "He's making you tea...I hope you don't mind."

Elijah shrugged, "I do not mind," she sat gently on the bed, hearing her spine crack, her arms and legs were ozzing a little before they got wrapped by him, his soft, gental hands. "Just as long as he don't spit in it." she msiled, trying to find a light side.

"Psh I'm not that uncuth!" Max called making Kyo growl a little in his throat. "Do you ever not listen to people's conversations?"
"When you're in my profession you have to listen. Besides, its not like you two are talking about anything interesting."
Kyo rolled his eyes and began cutting some more guaze for her other leg, "Ignore him." He muttered.

SHe smiled down at him, leaning down to his ear, "He is just jelous becuase the only lady in the hose is spending time with you and not him," she sat back and looked around, her hair mocing over her shoulders and falling into little ringlets
