Love Is Unescapable

Dylan smiled up at him.

Brock smiled back at her, and shifted to pull her to lay on his chest.

Dylan smiled and layed on his chest,"Brock.."

He looked down at her, "Yes hon?"

"Remind me.. of how we met,"She smiled,Dylan never forgot but she wanted to make sure he didn't.

"It was the summer, and you and your family were down here lookin' for a house to move into. Ya'll had picked a big arm house down yonder from the road, from here, and moved in that July. My family and i helped move in and it would be that a horse escaped your hand after your parents had gone to town for things, i first nearly knocked you over bringing the horse back in, it was a white and black mare named Oreo. I got to wrap yer hands up from robe burn then asked you out to show ye around, and we ended up going to the pier a week and a half later where i asked you to be my girlfriend before the first day of school." he said looking at her the whole time

Dylan smiled and nodded,"That's right,"she whispered,"and you wearing light faded blue jeans,a tight black tank top with a plaid button up shirt.."

Brock smiled, and reached over into his nightstand drawer, and pulled out the picture strips of them and smiled, holding them so she could see him, "Yes, i was, though the shirt i had then dont' fit, i have a replica, and i also," he pulled up a dress box, "found something, open the box."

Dylan leand over him and opened the box,smiling.

Brock smiled, it was the exact replica of the dress she'd worn.

I smiled brightly and took it out,"Oh my .."she whispered,her southern accent she could hide better than Brock came out when she said it.

Brock smiled and kissed her gently, letting his voice just go and you could not hear the strain that came with the heavy accent when he said, "There's my southern bell back,"

Dylan giggled abit and let her accent stay,"It's beautiful Brock... just like the one I had when I was 16."

"I know, you wouldn't believe what i did to get that dress of yers."

Dylan smiled,"And what did you do to get this dress?"

"I had to stand, in the front store window with a bright pink dress on," he said.

Dylan was thrown into a laughing fit.

Brock smiled, and let the dress from her hands and set it safely onto the floor.

Dylan laughed then asked,"Got any pics?"

"An album full," he said and got up, plucked one off the shelf he had, and handed it to her before taking her dress and hanging it up, he'd let her laugh all she'd want to.

Dylan looked through the album as she giggled about them.

Brock ran a hand though his hair, before walking out knowing she didn't know. He didn't know why, but it hurt him just a little that she giggled at that. He'd worked hard to make her happy, at least she was now. He went down, got a glass of water, chugged it back before he looked outside. He ran a hand over his face, and sighed holding onto the counter. Something...just didn't sit right with him, then he knew why. That laugh. That laugh of his mothers, her mothers, they used to spend so much time together they had the same laugh. he gritted his teethe, and shut his eyes, that was the one thing that haunted him.

Dylan's laughed died down when he was gone,she layed there and looked at the pictures before she closed the book and sighed.She got up and ran a bath before she walked back into the room and waited,she sighed and slowly undressed,leaving her cloths in a path as she did before she slipped into the bath and turned off the water.She leand back and closed her eyes.

Brock had his moments, the rarity when he would loose himself to something so little, he would snap out of it. he smiled, and got to the breaker box behind the stairs, and gut all the lights, one by one.

Dylan sighed when the lights went out,she got out and rapped herself in a towel before she slowly walked downstairs.Her heart pounding abit,the last time it was dark like this dylan was attcked.
