A Sirens Call.

Slowly Kain sombered over to a chair and sat himself down, laying his head back as he let the world spin about. "Just...need to rest a little bit, then I'll be on my way." He whispered as he looked to her, his deep red eyes glowing in the darkness of the room. He felt his fangs lengthen, hunger took him and weakened him as the world slowly grew darker, her face becoming a blur to his eyes shut and a deep sleep took him.

Kat watched him fall asleep, instantly she started moving around to find him a blanket, although she knew that he most likely wouldn't get any colder or hotter with the blanket, it made her feel better. Finding a blanket and a small pillow, she figured he would be uncomfortable laying sitting up, so slowly, she eased him into a couch, putting a pillow underneath his head and a blanket over his sleeping body. After she was done, Kat locked her door and walked quietly to the shower upstairs, turning it on cold and undressing herself, she was refreshed at the cool water against her skin, when she was finished, Kat tied up her hair and placed it in a small bun at the top of her head, wearing a short, comfortable black dress that attached itself to her body but not too dressy to appear as a regular piece of clothing she could wear around the house, after she was done cleaning up, Kat walked down the stairs slowly.

When she arrived downstairs she would find Kain sleeping on her couch, he had moved from the chair to lay out and have more comfort as he slept, he seemed unmoving and dead quiet. Not even breathing even. Her sweet smell awoken him slightly as his deep scarlet eyes opened to look at her. Only to slowly close and breath easily. "You smell really good." He smiled softly. Trying to add a bit of levity to the situation.

Kat smiled softly and walked over to him, glancing down at his body, she wondered how easily he was able to just sit there. "Thank you." She said, turning and walking to the kitchen. "Would you like something to eat?" She asked, wondering if his kind actually consumed food, she shrugged and asked anyways, to be polite.

Kain slowly raised himself from the couch, stretching slightly and walked slowly after her. "Something light...Vampires have less active stomach acid so I can only eat something small, it'll stay in my gut for a couple days before I have to even eat anything." He laughed as he slowly came up behind her. The urge was hard to resist as his arms gently wrapped around her waist, resting his head on her shoulder and enjoying the intoxicating smell of her blood. "You...really smell good. No wonder Sirens are easily attracting night walkers." He spoke softly as he let her go and sat at the table.

Kat nodded silently and went to cater to his needs, remembering that he only needed a small amount, she settled for a piece of toast. Feeling his arms wrap around her waist, Kat found herself easing down, relaxing at his touch, when usually she would stiffen at even being close to a vampire such as himself. Smiling slightly at his comment, she waited, leaning against the counter. "Thank you. I guess I should say." She replied, turning around to look at him as the soft clicking of the toaster rang behind her.

Kain smirked as he laid his head on his arms which he crossed on top of the table. He felt weak, he needed blood but the only place he could get some was his home, the blood bank, a snazzy vampire club that he usually went to for his feedings. And her, this girl before him who's blood tasted sweeter then honey. He kept his mind of her. The light throbbing of her heart rang in his ears. the soft pulsating sound of her blood vessels.

As the toast finished, Kat turned and grabbed it. Getting up on her tippy toes to grab a plate, she buttered the piece before setting it in front of him. Sitting in a chair next to Kain. Smiling at him, she crossed her hands and placed her chin on them, her heart beating irregularly, she sighed and furrowed her brows.

Biting into the toast it helped get his mind off his hunger slightly. Giving him some nourishment to stand and pace about. "I should get goin-" He paused as the room room spun, eating the toast rather quickly as he used his hands to prop himself up against the wall. "I'll...come see you at the bar when Night falls." He mumbled softly as he turned to look at her once more before leaving. She was safe, he was pleased and now he wanted rest.

Finding it only after burning in sunlight and falling into his bed, her smell still lingered on the sheets as he held the closely to his body. Breathing in and feeling a sudden restlessness fad away.

Kat found herself feeling rather lonely when he left. With a sigh, she clothed and went to the bar early, relieving the worker of their duties as she cleaned and attended to the bar customers whim of alcohol. Tonight it seemed people were awfully rowdy, Kat had to break up many fights, even in the short time she had came, and some, she found, were too drunk for their own health.

Kain awoken slowly when the sun fell and was immediately entering the bar with a dark flannel shit and long dark blue jeans. His eyes were slightly glazed as he sat at the front of the bar. "Alcohol....special please." He whispered the last part. He waited for the drink. Trying to keep his head down and keep his mouth firmly shut, his fangs bothered him and probably a lot of others to.

There was a lot of sleaze balls int he place and he wanted nothing more to go into a feeding frenzy.

Kat's eyes rose when she saw Kain walk into the bar, the only thing that bothered her was his body language, he looked strain and hungry, yet whever Kat would ask him if he needed blood, he refused her. Quickly, Katniss got his drink, pouring in the bit of blood and handing it to him. Looking around the bar, there was a slight tension between the men and Kain, narrowing her eyes, she wondered if they would try to make a fuss.

Blood. Juts the smell of it made his mouth titch. His fangs elongated as hi hid his face low, his long messes of hair covering his face as his hand shakily took the small glass and downed its contents rather quickly.

As soon as his lips taste the blood, his body shook with please. His long smooth tongue licked his lips as he felt the alcohol and blood warm his stomach. He breathed out heavily. Trying to calm the shaking, yet all he wanted was to sink his teeth into her. Or rather anybody else.

His soft red eyes looked to her with a deep hungering desire. His lips seemed mort smooth as was his complexion. "Another...Please.." His voice whispered softly as if his lips were right to her ear. He looked away to glance around the bar, he could smell the pent up drunken fury that some men were bottling up, waiting to let it lose.

He needed a good night off, but a small bar fight would'nt bother him much.

Kat watched him down the drink rather quickly and smiled when he requested another. Making it for him, she still eyed the men that were looking at Kain. Watching their gaze linger to hers, she shot them a look, and they all turned and went back to their business, in his state, Katniss didn't want him to do anything but nourish himself. But she knew just drops wouldn't help, handing him the drink she sighed and leaned on the counter in front of him, pursing her lips slightly as she looked around the busy and bustling bar.

Kain smiled softly as he two his second drink and sipped it more slowly. The taste running off his tongue and down his throat sent chills up and down his spine. It made him smile slightly as he looked to Kat with wanting eyes. "If I ask..." He paused when a man got up and came to Kain.

"Hey, pretty boy. I don't like the cut of your jib. Get the fuck outside because i'm about to beat the shit right out of you!" The burly bearded man grumbled and cracked his fists.

Yet Kain didn't even acknowledged him till the drunken man reached over,grabbed a bear bottle and threw it at Kains head, the bottle shattered into tiny fragments, leaving some glass embedded into his face and scalp. His face did not show any anger as he slowly began plucking bit of glass from his head and looked to the drunk with a stern glare. "Get lost...I don't have time to deal with punk idiots." The drunk smirked and back down,leaving the bar rather quickly.

Now he was in pain, the glass was serrated and pulling it out,left nice long sliced on one side of his face. His blood seeping slowly from the wounds,yet they weren't healing as fast due to the lack of blood intake.

Katniss gasped in horror of what she saw. Luckily, one of the workers came back for a shawl that she left and took Katniss's shift, in return she would work all day tomorrow. "Come upstairs, there's an inn." She whispered, helping Kain up the stairs and into a room. When they got inside she shut the door and walked over to Kain with a moist towel as she applied it to his wounds, which were healing quite slowly. He was sitting on the bed and Katniss was standing above him, biting her lip and finding small hidden shards of glass inside of his scalp, she removed them. While Katniss was tending to his wounds, she barely noticed how close her neck was to his face, she was more focused on the glass. "That was so incredibly.. Oh I could strangle him." She muttered under her breath.

The room was spinning slightly as the Siren helped him off the bar stool and up the stairs to a private room. He sat down on the couch and continued on picking small bits only to take out a nice thick junk from the skull. He groaned as he felt the long drips of his blood streak through his hair as the wound slowly closed. He felt incredibly faint. And with her so close. His eyes turned a violent red. His eyes locked on her pretty,smooth neck. His eyes could feel the veins through her skin, the sound of her heart pounding in his ear like a drum.

He had to breath, he had to calm down. He closed his eyes and tried to block everything out, but her heart drummed gently into his ear. He wanted it to stop. He wanted to gorge himself on her till there was not a drop left. But he couldn't. his good morals kept him sane.

Kat tsk-ed lightly as she watched his cuts heal, she finally looked down at him with a small frown. "Now you can't say no. You have to drink." She said sturbbornly, sitting next to him. Kat exhaled slightly as she tried to cool down her heart beat, which, for some reason was thumping erratically. Kat had other ways if he resufed her again, but for some reason the didn't think he would, it seemed as if he was going to ask her before the man had thrown the beer bottle at his head, something that made her outraged. She couldn't understand how people bared to just sit around and watch someone do that, regardless of who they are and what they need to survive. Katniss was forgiving, and kind. Maybe she was too kind sometimes though.

"I'll just go home and..." The room spun again, pausing his train of thought and speech. He sigh as he paid back. "I'll just rest...I shouldn't feed...hell, I should never drink blood." He turned away from her, closing his eyes. He could smell her, her scent was so strong he could almost taste it in the air. His fangs in full length. She tried to slow her heartbeat. He could hear the pulsing slow down. But it was still there.

He turned his other side to face her. "I..." He stopped as he sat up slowly and pivoted his body to face her. "I'll-only take a little bit." His lips opened slightly, showing easily the two long fangs of pearl white. His eyes a deep scarlet glow. His eyes unable to pull away from her neck.

Katniss watched as he turned to face her, lightly looking at his fangs, she didn't feel fear. For some reason, she felt longing. Chewing on her bottom lip, she nodded slowly and reached her arms out to him hesitantly, pulling his head to her neck softly. She inhaled and exhaled as she felt his cool breath against her soft, milky white skin. "It's not your fault.." She finally replied as she ran her fingers through his hair lightly. "You need it. Take it." She encouraged.

His whole body was pulsating as she pulled him close to her. His lips kissed her neck. Feeling that warmth. That heat that gave him a serious shiver down his spine. His soft wet tongue licked gently at the area where he wanted to sink his teeth into.

He paused as he realized how much he wanted and how much he should take. slowly he pulled her to lay down as he laid gently on top of her. His lips pull on the skin, sucking roughly to clot the blood to one spot, then a simple sharp prick. sound of harsh gulping as he began to drink slowly. His hands massaging her body gently while he fed. Fondling her most intimate areas.

The blood was so warm, so hot as it spreading through his body. His fangs dug deeper as the blood flowed faster. Gulping more and more.

Katniss allowed him to lay her on the bed, a small shudder went through her body as he kissed and sucked her neck before she felt a small pressure and the faintest prick, she exhaled lightly, finding that it wasn't painful. As he touched her, in areas that had always been left untouched, a small whimper escaped her lips as the feeding itself became more intimate, her heart sped up because of his touch, her black hair lay behind her on the bed. Katniss brought up her arms and wrapped them around his muscular back, finding that as he drank, his body temperature went up just the slightest. Being a Siren, usually Katniss was afraid of vampires- but him? She found herself calm as he drank her blood, knowing how fast it regenerated, how she couldn't die. But her calmness soon was masked by the thumping of her heart and his intimate touch.

Slowly his fangs pulled away. sipping on the last few drips of blood before licking it to heal over. leaving only two small pin prick marks on her neck. he slowly rested his head on her shoulder, he was still hungry. Far more then what she could sate no matter how many hours he would feed on her. His hunger was far worse then others. "Thank you..." He breathed gently against her neck as he pulled her closely to his body.

He slowly sat up and looked into her eyes. "Are you alright..I didn't hurt you did I?" He looked worried that he did take to much from her.

"Your welcome.." She whispered with a long exhale. "You didn't hurt me. Please don't think you did, is.. Your hunger satisfied?" She asked. As he pulled away from her, she felt a small longing. Moving her hand, she slowly slipped it in his. Pulling him to lay down again as she put her forehead on his chest, closing her eyes. "Just.. Stay here for a second." She said, her body shivering lightly as she suddenly felt cold, her warmth being reassured when he was near her body.

He was slightly surprised when she wanted him to lay back with her. slowly he wrapped his arms around her. Pulling a blanket over them both as he nestled gently with her. Warming her as he took her hands and slipped them underneath his shirt, letting her fingers feel his warm fully toned muscular chest. he breath slowly. "No...If I t was satisfied. You would be dead. I don't want to hurt you, so I only took enough to keep me in good health for a few hours." His voice was soft in her ear as his lips hotly kissed her neck. Hot and wet lips kissing her softly.
